Before we get bombarded with angry emails from people saying to stop spamming them I’d just like to clear something up.
No we are not sending you emails. The only emails you will get from us are the ones you have enabled in your account settings and any policy updates we make. If you don’t have an account with us, you aren’t receiving emails from us.
any emails you do receive when you don’t have an account is likely due to spammers spoofing a fake email address from us. It’s not difficult to spoof as the email they are sending from doesn’t actually exist. I apologize if you are seeing these types of emails and have looked for ways to stop it, but there’s really no way to stop it.
