Well... That was embarrassing... There I go advertising the website and registration didn't even work... Luckily I tested registration myself right after starting a small advertising campaign on MC Forums, discovered the bug, and fixed it before it was too late.
All in a days Beta test, I guess.

It appears Mojang has completely removed their server status API. So this will no longer accurately reflect their true status.
